Zionist National Security Minister Calls for Arrest of Palestinian President
The Zionist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, has urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to immediately lift the immunity of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and arrest him, threatening assassination operations against high-ranking Palestinian officials. Ben Gvir claims he wants to counter international efforts to recognize the State of Palestine.
According to several media outlets, Ben Gvir stated in a message to Netanyahu: "I am addressing today the head of our government, Benjamin Netanyahu: you must announce that Abu Mazen has no immunity." He continued: "If they accelerate the recognition of the Palestinian state, and if the UN approves it, then you, Mr. Prime Minister, must order the execution of targeted assassinations against the high officials of the Palestinian Authority, and you must order the arrest of Abu Mazen." Ben Gvir added: "We have a cell ready for him in the Ketsiyot prison. I call on the Prime Minister to arrest Abu Mazen, and I will take care of the rest." No comment was immediately published by the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
