Tunisian National Team Continues Winning Streak at World Volleyball Championship
The Tunisian national team is pursuing its victorious journey at the World Volleyball Championship, held in the Philippines. This Thursday morning, the Eagles of Carthage dominated Egypt in three straight sets (25-19, 25-18, 25-22) during the third and final day of the group stage (Group A).
Thanks to this success, Tunisia validates its ticket to the round of 16. The Tunisians had already beaten the host country, the Philippines (3-0), before conceding a defeat against Iran (1-3) in their second match.
The last match of the group will later oppose the Philippines to Iran to determine the identity of the second qualified team that will accompany Tunisia to the round of 16.
At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each pool secure their place in the round of 16.
