Renowned Mathematician Jack Dongarra Arrives in Tunis

On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, world-renowned mathematician and "Gordon Bell" award winner in the field of computer science and artificial intelligence, Jack Dongarra, arrived in Tunis for the first time. This visit is part of the "Al-Khawarizmi Tour" at the City of Sciences, attended by over 500 participants, including professors, researchers, and students. Mourad Belassoued, Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, confirmed in a statement to National Radio that the event was organized by Tunisian professors and researchers residing abroad.
