The Longest Submarine Cable in the Mediterranean: Medusa
The Medusa submarine cable, spanning over 8,000 km, which will connect several countries around the Mediterranean, has just landed in Bizerte. Tunisia will thus be able to benefit from improved international connectivity and strengthen its position as a digital hub for the African continent. It is worth noting that Bizerte is already a landing point for other submarine cables, such as the Peace, SeaMeWe-4, Didon, and Hannibal systems.
