Occupied West Bank Witnesses Series of Attacks and Incursions by Settlers and Occupation Soldiers
The occupied West Bank was the scene of a series of attacks and incursions by settlers and occupation soldiers on Tuesday evening, affecting several areas and resulting in injuries, arrests, and significant material damage, as settlers continued to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Tulkarem Under Attack
In Tulkarem, northwest of the West Bank, settlers launched a large-scale attack on the industrial zone east of the city, near the village of Beit Lid, causing significant fires and injuring several citizens. Local sources reported that settlers set fire to several vehicles in the industrial zone, known as Al-Lada'in, including four trucks belonging to a dairy factory, and caused damage to the factory itself. The attack also affected agricultural lands and metal shelters, as well as tents of a Bedouin gathering of several families. Settlers threw stones at residents and injured two citizens in the head.
Occupation Forces Provide Protection to Settlers
Sources added that occupation forces stormed the area and provided protection to settlers, while civil defense teams rushed to extinguish the flames. In the Qalqilya governorate, north of the occupied West Bank, occupation forces stormed the town of Azzun, east of the city, and deployed in the As-Safha neighborhood after entering through the main northern entrance.
Arrests and Incursions in Masafer Yatta and Hebron
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, occupation forces arrested a Palestinian activist after settlers stormed the village of Umm Al-Khair and released their livestock on citizens' lands, causing significant damage to crops. In a separate incident, a citizen from the city of Hebron was injured by bruises after being detained and physically assaulted by occupation forces at the entrance to the Fawwar camp, before being released and transferred to the Dura Government Hospital.
Tubas Under Occupation
In Tubas, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city with several military vehicles, deploying soldiers on foot and obstructing vehicle traffic in the streets. These events come in the context of an escalation of daily attacks by settlers under the protection of the Israeli army, and the continuation of incursions into Palestinian cities and villages in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza in October 2023.
