Medication Shortages: A Growing Concern
Like sales, shortages have their seasons. This time, it's the pharmaceutical sector that's being hit hard. For several days, if not weeks, many vital medications have been absent from pharmacies.
While we can do without butter (which has also disappeared from store shelves, along with other products like olive oil at 12.5 dinars, etc.) and soon milk, it's impossible to go without prescribed medical treatment. Any patient, chronic or not, undergoing treatment, needs to find the necessary medications at any pharmacy. It would be abnormal to have to visit several pharmacies in vain.
Let's hope this shortage is short-lived, as announced, and won't happen again.
