Increasing Public Disturbances: A Growing Concern
We are seeing more and more people behaving abnormally in the streets, public spaces, and even on public transportation.
These individuals are usually men, often young. But to make matters worse, women—sometimes also young—are joining in. And it’s getting progressively worse.
- Some talk to themselves (or rather, talk to themselves out loud).
- Others laugh loudly, etc.
Although bystanders feel uncomfortable, they do not complain about this behavior.
The situation becomes unbearable and dangerously volatile when you encounter people who shout at the top of their lungs, hurling insults and obscenities that can even lead to assaults—without anyone stepping in to say “stop.”
The most disheartening fact is that most of these individuals are not actually ill; they are merely putting on a performance.
