Just Weeks Away from Official Exams, Baccalaureate Candidates Embark on a Crucial Stage of Their Preparation
As the official exams approach, students from public and private institutions are set to take the "bac blanc" (mock baccalaureate) exams starting today, Wednesday, May 6. These third-trimester exams will take place in conditions similar to those of the national baccalaureate exam.
The "bac blanc" will continue on May 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13, according to the schedules set by various educational institutions. These exams are a comprehensive simulation of the actual exam conditions in all compulsory and optional subjects. Their purpose is to train students, assess their level of preparation, and familiarize them with the official schedule of the main baccalaureate session, which is scheduled to take place on June 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10, 2026, in accordance with the Ministry of Education's calendar.
In addition, candidates will take the practical and oral exams of the baccalaureate between May 14 and 23, 2026, after having already completed the physical education exam (bac sport), which took place from April 13 to 25, 2026. As a result, 3,404 candidates were exempt from this exam.
The results of the main baccalaureate session in 2026 will be announced on Tuesday, June 23. The control session exams will take place on June 29 and 30, as well as July 1 and 2, 2026. The results of this session will be announced on July 12, 2026.
