Second Batch of International Bus Acquisition Arrives in Tunisia

The second lot of the international agreement for the purchase of 461 buses from China arrived today, Friday, 27 February 2026, at the port of La Goulette, announced Tarek Bouazizi, Director General of Land Transport at the Ministry of Transport.

  • 158 buses in total
  • A portion will be allocated to regional transport companies
  • 47 buses are earmarked for the National Inter‑City Transport Company (SNTI), helping to meet the growing demand ahead of the Eid al‑Fitr holidays

  • The first lot of 132 buses, which arrived earlier, has already been successfully put into service.
