Weather Forecast: Isolated Rain Showers and Thunderstorms Expected in the North
Today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday, the weather situation will remain favorable to isolated rain showers and temporary thunderstorms in the North. The National Institute of Meteorology (INM) predicts, in a follow-up bulletin, that the rains will sometimes be abundant on the coastal regions of the North, where the maximum quantities will range between 20 and 40 millimeters, reaching locally 60 millimeters in the extreme Northwest with hail showers.
Expected Weather Conditions
- Relatively strong to strong winds are expected tomorrow, Saturday, in the North and Center, temporarily exceeding 80 km/h, in the form of gusts near the coasts, on heights, and during the appearance of thunderclouds.
- Temperatures will experience a significant drop, particularly tomorrow, Saturday.
- Maximum temperatures will range between 12 and 18 degrees.
- They will not exceed 6 degrees in mountainous regions.
- Minimum temperatures will generally be between 6 and 10 degrees.
- They will range between 0 and 4 degrees in Western regions, with a possibility of snowfall on the heights of the Jendouba governorate.
