Weather Forecast: Deterioration Expected Tonight
The weather will experience a progressive deterioration tonight, characterized by a partially cloudy sky that will sometimes become very overcast. Scattered rains are expected in the far northwest, while locally strong storms will hit the center and south, accompanied by occasional hail showers in isolated areas, according to the National Meteorology Institute. Winds will blow from the west sector in the north and from the north sector in the center and south. They will be strong near the northern coasts and in the southern regions, where local sandstorms are possible. Elsewhere, they will remain weak to moderate. Gusts exceeding 70 km/h are expected during the passage of storm cells. The sea will be very rough on the northern coasts and in the Gulf of Gabès, and rough on the rest of the coastline. Nighttime temperatures will range from 11 to 16 degrees in the north and at high altitudes, and from 17 to 21 degrees in other regions.
