Actia Group Announces New CEO
The board of directors of Actia Group, a Toulouse-based family business and international specialist in embedded electronics and intelligent systems, announced today the appointment of Walid Rouis as CEO of the group, following its meeting on December 15, 2025. He succeeds Jean-Louis Pech, who will retain the presidency of the board of directors and continue to contribute to the group's strategic and industrial direction.
About Walid Rouis
An engineer by training and an experienced executive, Walid Rouis joined Actia in 2007 and has since held increasingly important responsibilities within the group. Notably, he has directed Actia Engineering Services, the group's research and development center, and created Actia Africa in 2018, a commercial entity dedicated to the group's development on the African continent.
Previous Roles
Since January 1, 2025, he has held the position of Deputy CEO in charge of operations, alongside Catherine Mallet, Deputy CEO in charge of finance and communication, and Jean-François Calmels, in charge of the company's social responsibility.
Strengthening Governance
Actia Group, which has nearly 4,000 employees and achieved a turnover of €535.1 million in 2024, is thus strengthening its governance by separating the functions of chairman of the board and CEO, in order to support its growth dynamic and technological ambitions.
