Former Tunisian Football Federation President Hospitalised in Cardiac Intensive Care

Tunis, March 10 2026 – Former president of the Tunisian Football Federation, Wadie Jary, was transferred to a cardiac intensive‑care unit after his health deteriorated significantly during the night of Monday, 9 March 2026. He was rushed by ambulance to the emergency department of a hospital in Tunis.

During the day, Jary underwent a series of comprehensive medical examinations and received the necessary treatment. In the evening, the attending physicians decided to admit him to a specialized cardiac intensive‑care unit, where he is now receiving close monitoring, intensive care, and a treatment plan tailored to his condition.

In a statement released later, Wadie Jary expressed his deep gratitude to all medical and paramedical staff, as well as to the hospital’s agents and administrators, for their professionalism and the attentive care they have provided him.
