Green Line 1899: Listening and Guidance Hotline for Women Victims of Violence Received 7,397 Calls in 2025
From January 1 – December 31 2025, the Green Line 1899 hotline, dedicated to listening to and guiding women who have experienced violence, recorded 7,397 calls, of which 4,485 concerned reports of violence against women.
According to the website of the Assembly of the People’s Representatives (ARP), this clarification follows a written response from the Ministry of Women, Family, Children and the Elderly to a parliamentary question about indicators related to women victims of violence, the Organic Law N° 58 (2017) on the elimination of violence against women, and the National Strategy for Combating Violence.
