Bomb Threat at Democratic National Committee Headquarters in Washington
A bomb threat was reported at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters in Washington on Thursday afternoon, according to media reports. Following the threat, employees were evacuated for the remainder of the day, as the capital's federal police intervened and concluded, after conducting checks, that it was a false alarm. "This afternoon, a bomb threat targeted the DNC headquarters in Washington, but it was deemed not credible by the Capitol Police," a DNC spokesperson told the media. The spokesperson added that, as a precautionary measure, law enforcement was conducting a thorough inspection of the building's interior.
