Due to the Impact of Amendments to Tunisian Labor Law, the US Embassy in Tunis Will Limit Its Activities Starting December 8, 2025

The US Embassy in Tunis announced on its official Facebook page this Friday, December 5, 2025, that it will be limiting its activities due to the impact of recent changes to Tunisian labor law.

Affected Services

  • Visa issuance services will be rescheduled once the embassy resumes normal operations.
  • Routine consular services for American citizens will also be rescheduled at a later time.

  • Emergency services for American citizens will remain available.
