Strong Winds to Continue Throughout Sunday Night
According to the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), strong winds will persist throughout Sunday night. Coming from the west, these winds will be strong near the coastlines and moderate to strong in the rest of the regions, with gusts temporarily exceeding 70 km/h, particularly in the northern coastal areas and mountainous regions.
Rough Seas Expected
The sea will be very rough and wavy in the north and the Gulf of Hammamet, while it will remain very disturbed in the rest of the coastal areas, requiring caution for maritime activities and pleasure navigation.
Cloudy Skies and Cooler Temperatures
The weather will be characterized by cloudy passages over most regions. These clouds may be dense at times, especially in the extreme northwest and the Cap Bon region, where light and scattered rains are expected.
Temperature Drop
A significant drop in temperature is forecasted during the night. Minimum temperatures will range between 6 and 10 degrees in the western regions of the north and center, potentially reaching 4 degrees in the highlands. In the rest of the country, nighttime temperatures will vary between 11 and 14 degrees.
