Weather Deterioration Expected from Wednesday Afternoon
The weather is expected to deteriorate starting from Wednesday afternoon and during the night, with scattered and temporarily stormy rains over the western regions, before gradually extending to the eastern regions, announces the National Institute of Meteorology in a follow-up bulletin.
Rainfall and Storms
These precipitations will sometimes be strong, particularly in the governorates of the Northwest, as well as in Bizerte and Kasserine. The most significant accumulations are expected to vary between 20 and 40 millimeters, with a risk of hail in some areas.
Forecast for Thursday and Friday
The rains will continue on Thursday, December 4, and Friday, December 5, in the North. They will locally take on a stormy character and can be punctually intense, particularly in Bizerte, Béja, and Jendouba.
Temperature Drop
A significant drop in temperatures is expected from Thursday. The minimum temperatures will range from 1 to 5 degrees in the highlands of the West and between 6 and 10 degrees in other regions. The maximum temperatures will generally vary between 12 and 17 degrees, without exceeding 8 degrees on the reliefs of the West.
