United Arab Emirates Defense Ministry Announces Ongoing Interception of Missile and Drone Threats from Iran
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that the country's air‑defence systems are currently intercepting missile and drone threats originating from Iran.
In a post shared on the X platform, the ministry explained that the noises heard in certain areas of the country are linked to interception operations carried out by the air‑defence forces against missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Authorities have urged citizens to stay in safe locations and to follow updates released through official channels as the situation evolves.
