Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies (FTAV) Announces Pilgrimages to Holy Sites Continue Normally Despite Regional Tensions in the Middle East

In close coordination with the relevant authorities, the federation is maintaining rigorous monitoring of the situation to guarantee the safety of all Tunisian nationals.

Direct air links between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia are experiencing no disruptions and continue to operate on a regular schedule.

FTAV confirms that no flight cancellations have been recorded to date, underscoring the stability of the departure calendar for the remainder of the season.

Support for Transit Travelers

Special attention is being given to pilgrims who have chosen indirect flights that transit through countries whose airspace is temporarily closed.

Travel agencies, in partnership with Saudi authorities, are working to provide the best possible accommodation conditions for these travelers while awaiting the reopening of air corridors, enabling a swift return to Tunisia.

To protect client rights, FTAV and the airlines have adopted a maximum‑flexibility policy.

All member agencies are mobilised to re‑schedule departures affected by any logistical adjustments, ensuring a smooth and stress‑free management of the end‑of‑season Omra period.
