The General Civil Aviation Authority of the Emirates Announces Exceptional Flights
The General Civil Aviation Authority of the Emirates announced on Monday the launch of exceptional flights at the country's airports to enable passengers who were stranded and affected by recent events in the region to continue their journeys.
According to the authorities, these flights will be operated according to schedules that will be communicated directly to the affected travelers by the airlines, based on the destinations that are available.
The authority has urged passengers whose flights have been disrupted not to go to the airports until they have been contacted by their airlines and informed of the new timetables and travel arrangements, in order to avoid congestion and ensure smooth operations.
In addition, Dubai Airports announced a partial resumption of flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
These measures come as air traffic in the region remains heavily disrupted, forcing authorities and airlines to gradually adapt their operations.
