The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence has confirmed the death of an Asian national after missile debris fell in a residential area in Abu Dhabi.
The ministry stated that the UAE was the target of an open attack by Iranian ballistic missiles, while emphasizing that the security situation in the country remains under control and that all competent authorities are monitoring developments 24 hours a day.
The Emirates also announced a partial and temporary closure of their airspace as an exceptional preventive measure.
Explosions were heard today in several Gulf states following the U.S.–Israeli attack on Iran.
