Weather Forecast: Tunisia to Experience Rainfall and Storms
The Tunisian Observatory for Meteorology and Climate announced on its official Facebook page on Wednesday evening, October 14, 2025, the arrival of a depression system that is expected to influence the weather conditions in Tunisia over the next few days.
Expected Weather Conditions
According to the same source, the northern part of the country and some eastern coastal regions, including Nabeul, Sousse, Monastir, and possibly Mahdia, will be affected by light to moderate rainfall over the next two days, with some areas potentially experiencing heavy rainfall.
International Weather Conditions
At the same time, a significant depression trough will affect southern Italy, causing intense thunderstorm activity accompanied by heavy precipitation on the islands of Sicily and Sardinia, as well as in the extreme south of the country, with a risk of flooding and flash floods.
Future Weather Forecast
The Observatory also signals the formation, by the end of the week, of a new Saharan depression front, which is likely to bring significant rainfall to many regions of Tunisia.
