Earthquake Strikes Aegean Sea
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake on the Richter scale hit the Aegean Sea, west of Turkey, today. According to a statement from the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the quake occurred at a depth of 8.99 kilometers. No human losses or material damage have been reported so far.
