Tunisian Embassy in London Participates in International Road Safety Awards Ceremony
The Tunisian Embassy in London took part in the official ceremony of the International Road Safety Awards, held under the patronage of Prince Michael of Kent and in the presence of British officials, including the Minister of Transport.
During this event, the Association of Road Safety Ambassadors in Tunisia was recognized for its major role in promoting road safety culture and raising awareness, particularly through the project to secure the surroundings of schools and the implementation of the 30 km/h zone. The association was represented by its president, Afaf Ben Ghniya, known for her sustainable civic initiatives, and Mehdi Issaoui, a member of the board of directors. This distinction highlights the leadership and civic commitment of Tunisian women on the international stage.
The embassy expressed its pride in this recognition, which adds to the successes of Tunisian women in various fields, particularly those related to the protection of lives and collective security.
