Tunisian Pilgrims Complete Arafat Station Rites in a Sober and Devout Atmosphere

On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Tunisian pilgrims completed the rites of the Arafat station (wuqûf), one of the most significant moments of the Hajj pilgrimage, in an atmosphere of solemnity and fervent religiosity.

According to a statement from the Tunisian Pilgrims Affairs Bureau, the faithful performed the congregational and shortened prayers, recited the Quran, and followed the Arafat sermon as well as several religious lectures delivered by the Tunisian religious mission.

The Bureau noted that the Tunisian mission ensured the supervision and accompaniment of pilgrims within the tents to protect them from the intense heat, in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Tunisian pilgrims are now preparing to continue the performance of various Hajj rites after completing the mandatory "wuqûf" stage at Arafat, the same source added.
