Tunisian Pilgrims to Enjoy Modernized and Personalized Accommodations at Arafat Site
This year, Tunisian pilgrims will benefit from modernized and personalized accommodations at the Arafat site. Last Saturday, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Head of the Official Hajj Delegation, Ahmed Bouhali, conducted an inspection visit to ensure the smooth deployment of infrastructure before the arrival of the faithful.
At the heart of this inspection, the Minister examined the quality of the new tents equipped with "Sofabeds." These comfortable and foldable sofas present a major innovation this season: each location is now personalized and includes the name, photo, and visa number of each pilgrim, ensuring a rigorous organization.
The tour also focused on the essential services of the campsite. Ahmed Bouhali inspected the tents reserved for the Tunisian medical mission clinics to ensure the availability of necessary medical equipment. Given the region's climate conditions, the state of preparation and the efficiency of the air conditioning systems were subject to a strict verification. This modernization responds to the direct instructions of the Tunisian executive.
The Minister emphasized that the Pilgrims' Office has scrupulously applied the recommendations of the President of the Republic and the Head of Government, which require maximum attention and impeccable supervision for the pilgrims. "We must provide all the conditions of comfort, especially on the day of Arafat, to allow pilgrims to fully devote themselves to devotion in serenity and peace of mind," the Minister stressed.
To close this inspection, the Minister praised the logistical efforts of the National Services and Residences Society (SNR). For this crucial visit, Ahmed Bouhali was accompanied by members of the official delegation, the SNR CEO, representatives of the Tunisian diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia, and high-ranking officials from the Ministry, all mobilized to finalize the last preparations for the welcome.
