Tunisian National Office for Handicrafts (ONAT) to Participate in Milan International Handicrafts Fair
The Tunisian National Office for Handicrafts (ONAT), under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and in coordination with the National Federation of Handicrafts, plans to organize the participation of Tunisian artisans and handicraft enterprises in the Milan International Handicrafts Fair in Italy, which will take place from December 6 to 14, 2025, within a collective Tunisian space.
Objective of Participation
The Office has invited Tunisian artisans and handicraft enterprises to participate in this international fair to promote Tunisian handicraft products on a larger scale and open up broader perspectives for promising export opportunities. It has specified that the deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Participation Framework
This Tunisian participation is part of the continuation of the program to develop the promotion of Tunisian handicraft products during international events for the year 2025.
Terms of Participation
The Office will cover the indemnity for renting and setting up the stand, as well as the registration fees for each exhibitor. The participation contribution for each artisan or enterprise is set at 2,000 dinars, which must be deposited in full into the Office's current account after confirmation of participation.
Logistics and Transportation
The National Federation of Handicrafts will be responsible for the shipping and transportation costs of the exhibited products from Tunisia to Milan, at a cost of 2,000 dinars per carrier (handling unit).
Responsibilities of Selected Artisans
On their part, the selected artisans who will participate must cover their own travel ticket, visa, and accommodation expenses.
This participation aims to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of Tunisian handicrafts in the global market, leveraging the international platform provided by the Milan Fair to expand export opportunities and foster economic growth within the handicraft sector.
