Tunisian Parliament to Hold Hearing with Finance Minister
The Tunisian Parliament will hold a hearing session on Tuesday, October 28, with Finance Minister Mechkat Salama El Khaldi to discuss the execution of the state budget for the year 2025, announced Vice-President of the Finance Committee, Issam Chouchane, on Diwan FM on Sunday.

According to Chouchane, a second session is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, in the presence of the Finance Minister and the Minister of Economy, to discuss the economic framework, general budget provisions, and specific missions.
Examination of the 2026 Budget
He specified that the following weeks will be dedicated to examining the draft finance law for the year 2026. Before the opening of these debates, several hearings will be organized with various economic and social actors, including:
- The Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts (UTICA)
- The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fishing (UTAP)
- Chartered accountants and experts
These hearings aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the budget execution and to discuss the economic and financial prospects for the upcoming year.
