Update on the Flotilla of Resilience

The legal team supporting the Flotilla of Resilience has announced that Israeli occupation police violently assaulted Tunisian participant Mouheb Senoussi as he waved the Palestinian flag, which he had hidden under his clothes, and chanted slogans calling for freedom for Palestine with other participants. This incident occurred as the Israeli Interior Minister entered the port of Ashdod and began threatening them.

The team emphasized that despite this, Mouheb Senoussi's morale remains high. He sent greetings through his lawyer, reassuring the Tunisian people and all free peoples, and calling for continued pressure to secure the release of all participants.

The legal team also announced that 280 participants completed immigration court procedures yesterday, Friday, October 3, 2025, with 200 doing so without the presence of lawyers, while lawyers accompanied the rest. Hearings resume today, with the trials of 200 other participants postponed until today.

In a statement, the team indicated that due to the coincidence with the weekend, the hearings are proceeding at a slow pace, and it is likely that they will also be extended tomorrow. They highlighted that seven judges reviewed cases yesterday, while only two judges are supervising the hearings today.

It is expected that around 100 participants who signed the "expedited deportation" document and refused to appear before the Israeli judge will be deported today. The legal team reminded that signing this document in no way constitutes recognition of the legitimacy of the occupying entity, and that the legal team left the participants free to choose whether or not to sign it.
