The Esperance Sportive de Zarzis has secured its place in the Tunisian Cup semifinals with a resounding 2-0 victory over Club Athlétique Bizertin at the Abdessalem Kazouz complex on Wednesday.

The Zarzissiens became the first team to qualify for the final four of the competition, showcasing their strength and organization throughout the match.

A Strong Start

The home team wasted no time in setting the tone for the match, with Achraf Ben Dhiaf scoring in the 4th minute to give ES Zarzis the perfect start. The Sang et Or du Sud team then successfully defended against Bizertin's attacks, with the goalpost coming to their aid just before halftime by blocking a dangerous attempt from CA Bizertin.

Second-Half Delight

In the second half, Moomen Rahmani delivered the decisive blow, scoring the breakaway goal in the 75th minute to all but seal the match's outcome. Bizertin had one final chance to salvage some honor in stoppage time, earning a penalty in the 90+7th minute. However, Aziz Gasmi's attempt was woefully off target, sending the ball sailing over the crossbar.
