Mohamed Ben Ayed, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Meets the Ambassador of Bahrain
On 12 March 2026, Mohamed Ben Ayed, Secretary of State attached to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, received His Excellency Abdulaziz Mohamed Abdulla Aleid, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Tunisia.
During the meeting, both parties examined ways to strengthen and promote the fraternal ties and cooperation between the two brotherly nations, while reviewing the latest developments in the regional situation.
In this context, the Secretary of State reiterated Tunisia’s categorical rejection of any violation of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and stability of fellow Arab states. He recalled Tunisia’s stance calling for an immediate halt to military escalation and a return to negotiations as the sole path to contain the crisis and prevent further aggravation of the conflict.
The encounter also provided an opportunity to highlight the long‑standing and solid relationship of brotherhood and cooperation between Tunisia and the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint efforts to consolidate and elevate these ties to the highest levels, in the interest of both countries and for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
