A New Milestone Achieved in Humanitarian Commitment by NGO Wallah We Can
A boat carrying school supplies for 1,500 orphans from the #GazaChildrenVillage project has set sail from the port of Sicily, despite a dramatic context marked by war, blockade, and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Back in Tunis, Lotfi Hamadi, founder of the organization, calls for collective mobilization: "I am ready to mobilize all those who, through their means, networks, and skills, can help us take action there, from here and elsewhere." In the face of the magnitude of the drama in Gaza, the initiative is a act of solidarity resistance. "Yes, despite the blockade, war, genocide, and the horror of everyday life, it is still possible to act. Certainly on a small scale, but every life saved is worth it." This project is part of the continuity of actions carried out by Wallah We Can, which works for the education, dignity, and protection of children in vulnerable situations. The #GazaChildrenVillage aims to provide sustainable support to orphaned children affected by the conflict, guaranteeing them access to education, care, and a dignified living environment.
