Ministry of Health Announces Plan to Create Regional Biotechnology Training Center in Tunisia
The Ministry of Health announced on Friday the study of a project to create a regional biotechnology training center in Tunisia. The initiative was at the heart of a meeting chaired by the Minister of Health, Moustapha Ferjani, in the presence of national researchers and experts specialized in biotechnology, vaccine manufacturing, training, and scientific research.
Objectives of the Future Center
This future center is part of a national vision that aims to:

- Strengthen Tunisia's role as a reference actor in this strategic field
- Foster international cooperation through the exchange of expertise

The Minister emphasized the need to invest more in scientific research and training, stressing the urgency to accelerate procedures to concretize this project. He also affirmed the Ministry's commitment to supporting the development of Tunisian researchers and specialists in modern biotechnology, recalling that the country already has an advanced industrial fabric capable of consolidating this dynamic.
