Ministry of Health Expands Digital Hospital Services to Seven New Regions
The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday the expansion of the digital hospital's activities to seven new regions: Siliana, Kasserine, Tataouine, Jendouba, Kebili, Sfax (Mahres), and Médenine (Ben Guerdane).
According to a statement, this initiative will now allow residents of these regions to access remote medical consultations in several specialties, including:
- Diabetology and endocrinology
- Rheumatology and orthopedics
- Dermatology
- Nutrition
The Ministry specifies that this project aims to:
- Bring medical services closer to citizens
- Reduce the constraints related to travel and waiting times
- Accelerate diagnoses It also aims to support local medical teams through the use of telemedicine and artificial intelligence technologies.
