Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad Announces Opening of Two New Consular Agencies in France
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad announced on Tuesday the upcoming opening of two new consular agencies of the Tunisian Republic in France, located in Ajaccio and Bordeaux.
New Consular Network Structure
In a statement, the ministry specified that the network of Tunisian consular representation in France is now structured as follows:
- 5 Consulates General: Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille, and Nice
- 4 Consulates: Pantin, Toulouse, Grenoble, and Montpellier
- 4 Consular Agencies: Toulon, Lille (recently created and operational since the beginning of this month), Bordeaux, and Ajaccio
Strengthening Support for the Tunisian Community Abroad
The ministry emphasized that these measures concretize the will of the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, to:
- Strengthen the support for members of the Tunisian community living abroad
- Bring consular services closer to them
- Imperatively improve the quality of these services
