Rainfall Levels Reach 55% of Normal Rates
Rainfall recorded from the beginning of September to November 7 has reached 55% of usual levels, according to Anis Ben Rayana, an agricultural expert. During his appearance on Express Fm on Saturday, November 8, 2025, Ben Rayana added that cumulative rainfall quantities are estimated at 30.1 mm, while the normal rate for this period is around 55 mm. He specified that the Southeast region has recorded a precipitation rate of around 31%, compared to 68% in the North and Northwest of the country. The expert also emphasized that these rains should facilitate the start of sowing, announcing a promising agricultural season, provided that precipitation maintains a similar pace in the coming weeks. This meteorological situation occurs in a context where rainfall is crucial to ensure the stability of agricultural production, particularly in the most vulnerable areas of the country.
