Tunisia Strengthens Ties with UAE and Africa at Dubai Celebration
On the occasion of Africa Day, celebrated in Dubai, Tunisia's acting Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Noureddine Daly, highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation opportunities between the African continent and the United Arab Emirates in a rapidly changing and challenging international context.
Speaking at the event held last Sunday, the Tunisian diplomat emphasized the need to capitalize on economic and strategic partnerships between Africa and the UAE, while also stressing the importance of dialogue and restraint in the face of recent regional tensions.
In his address, Noureddine Daly also mentioned the African Union's call for dialogue regarding the recent conflicts in the region. He also recalled the solidarity expressed by several African countries, including Tunisia, towards the UAE following the attacks on its territory.
The Tunisian representative expressed his gratitude to the UAE-Africa Networking Group and its President, William Stenhouse, for their efforts in organizing the first edition of this celebration in Dubai, commemorating the creation of the Organization of African Unity in Addis-Abeba on May 25, 1963.
The meeting, which brought together a large number of entrepreneurs and business leaders from several countries, also served as a platform to promote the 22nd edition of the Tunisia Investment Forum, scheduled to take place on June 25-26, 2026, in Tunisia.
According to Tunisian authorities, this new edition of the forum will provide an opportunity to present new investment projects and incentives and benefits for foreign investors.
