Mediterranean Season Cultural Event Kicks Off in Marseille
Last Friday, the cultural event "Mediterranean Season" was launched in Marseille, France, initiated by the French President, and will run from May 15th to October 31st, 2026. The event features the participation of the Tunisian Ambassador to France, Dhia Khaled.
A Cultural Event of Enormous Proportions
This cultural event will include a series of artistic and cultural activities, with several events scheduled to take place in Tunisia. The aim is to showcase the rich cultural, artistic, and human heritage of the Mediterranean region, according to a statement released by the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad's media and communication platform.
Collaboration with French and International Institutions
The various activities will be organized in collaboration with the French Institute and several cultural institutions and artists from partner countries.
Official Launch of the Event
The official launch of this significant event was presided over by Jean-Noël Barrot, with the presence of Catherine Vautrin, Sabrina Agresti-Roubache, Tunisian Ministerial Delegate for the Mediterranean Nadia Hai, and Marseille Mayor Benoît Payan.
