According to statistics released on Saturday by the Ministry of the Interior, 14,300 judicial dossiers concerning narcotics (trafficking and consumption) were opened in 2025, leading to the arrest of 20,289 individuals.

  • 479,830 psychotropic tablets
  • 146.76 kg of cocaine

  • Security units logged 181,998 judicial cases in 2025 as part of the broader fight against crime.
  • These operations resulted in the arrest of 69,164 people.

Security Campaigns Around Sensitive Sites

The ministry also reported that 132,000 security campaigns were carried out around:

  • Sensitive institutions (government buildings, diplomatic missions, etc.)
  • Public transport stations
  • Educational establishments

These campaigns enabled the apprehension of more than 217,000 wanted individuals.
