Tunisia Suffers Defeat Against Syria in Arab Cup Opener
The Tunisian national team was beaten by Syria (0-1) on Monday at the Ahmed Ben Ali Stadium, in the opening match of the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar. The only goal of the match was scored by Omar Khribin in the 48th minute.
This first day of Group A saw Tunisia concede its first defeat of the tournament. In the same group, the Palestinian team will face Qatar tonight at 5:00 PM. For its second match, Tunisia will meet Palestine next Thursday, before closing the group stage against the host country, Qatar, next Sunday.
