The Grain Office has launched an international tender for the purchase of approximately 50,000 tons of feed barley, according to European operators on Wednesday. As reported by Reuters, the deadline for submitting price offers is set for Thursday, February 12, 2026. According to the same sources, the barley can be imported from any origin, with the total quantity divided into two lots of 25,000 tons each. Shipments are expected to take place between March 15 and April 20, 2026, depending on the chosen origin. This tender illustrates the continued strong demand from Tunisia for feed barley, which is mainly used in animal feed.
