Tunisian President Receives Key Officials to Discuss National Security and Economic Stability
The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received several key officials on Friday, September 26, at the Carthage Palace, including:
- Khaled Nouri, Minister of the Interior
- Sofiene Bessadek, Secretary of State to the Minister of the Interior in charge of National Security
- Mourad Saïdan, Director General of the National Security
- Houssine El Gharbi, Director General and Commander of the National Guard
During the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the need to relentlessly pursue efforts to dismantle speculation and monopoly networks. He stated that this is not a limited-time campaign to lower prices, but rather a long-term policy of the Tunisian state aimed at ensuring the country's and society's security, while also guaranteeing dignified living conditions for citizens.
President Kaïs Saïed highlighted that the Tunisian people, driven by a newfound awareness, are waging a true war of liberation on all fronts with the determination of a fighter who will never lay down their arms.
