Six Tunisian Companies Make it to the Top 130 of the Fifth Edition of the Fastest-Growing African Companies in 2026
According to the Financial Times (FT) and Statista, six Tunisian companies have made it to the top 130 of the fifth edition of the Fastest-Growing African Companies in 2026. This achievement places Tunisia among the top five African countries with the most represented companies in this ranking.
The Africa's Fastest-Growing Companies 2026 ranking recognizes the 130 African companies that have experienced the highest revenue growth between 2021 and 2024. To be included in this ranking, companies must be independent and have primarily organic revenue growth, increasing from at least $100,000 in 2021 to $1.5 million by 2024. They must also have their operational headquarters in Africa.
The ranking highlights the dynamism of Tunisia's technology and finance sectors, which are represented by three companies. These include Gomycode (Rank 74), a startup specializing in EdTech, Hannibal Lease (Rank 84), a leasing services company, and MS Solutions (Rank 92), a payment technology company.
The ranking also includes traditional industrial sectors, represented by Sotetel (Rank 99), a telecommunications company, Unimed (Rank 103), a pharmaceutical group, and Land'Or (Rank 111), an agro-food company.
In 2026, the African entrepreneurial landscape is marked by strong growth in the logistics, fintech, and services sectors, with a geographical dominance of South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.
South Africa dominates the ranking with 51 companies in the top 130. Kenya has made a significant breakthrough in second place, with 17 companies, ahead of Nigeria, which comes in third with 16 companies. Mauritius comes in fourth place with 12 companies. Tunisia has entered the top 5 most represented countries with 6 companies.
Published online by Statista and the Financial Times, as well as in the daily edition of the FT, this annual list is a highly publicized recognition of fast-growing companies in Africa. Out of over 9,000 evaluated companies, only 130 were selected for the final list, receiving the official distinction of "Growth Champion 2026."
