International Union of Banks Announces Key Leadership Changes
The International Union of Banks (UIB) has announced the appointment of Mrs. Ilhem Bouaziz, Deputy General Manager in charge of Retail Banking at UIB, as the new Chair of the Board of Directors of UIB Insurance, following the resignation of Mr. Kamel Néji from his positions and mandates within the UIB Insurance subsidiary.
Additionally, the executive committees of the Arts and Culture Foundation by UIB and the Solidarity and Innovation Foundation by UIB have taken note of the resignation of their President, Mr. Kamel Néji, and appointed Mrs. Moufida Hamza as interim President of the Arts and Culture Foundation by UIB, and Mr. Achraf Fakhfakh as interim President of the Solidarity and Innovation Foundation by UIB.
On the same occasion, Mr. Kamel Néji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UIB, stated that his succession plan is underway and that his resignation will take effect, under all circumstances, on December 31, 2025. He added, "I dare to believe that my departure will write a new, equally radiant chapter in the history of our bank... And I know I can count on all stakeholders to remain united, attached to our values, and to overcome the challenges ahead with a high level of vision. History is watching us."
Having both a long-term vision and pragmatic responses to urgent imperatives is not only a duty, but also a guarantee of future success for UIB, concluded Mr. Kamel Néji.
