Free Access to Archaeological Sites, Historical Monuments, and Museums in Tunisia
The Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion has announced that access to all archaeological sites, historical monuments, and open museums in Tunisia will be free on Thursday, September 4, 2025. This measure applies to both Tunisian citizens and foreign residents holding a legal residence permit in Tunisia. Note that free entry to museums and archaeological sites in Tunisia is also granted on:
- Every first Sunday of the month
- April 18, on the occasion of International Day for Monuments and Sites
- May 18, during International Museum Day
- As well as on official holidays This initiative aims to encourage the public to discover and enhance the rich cultural and historical heritage of Tunisia.
