Strengthening Tunisia‑Finland Cooperation in Energy and Automation Technologies
The reinforcement of cooperation between Tunisia and Finland in the energy sector and automation technologies was the focus of a visit made at the end of last month by Nabiha Hajji, Ambassador of the Tunisian Republic to Finland, to ABB Finland.
ABB Finland, a specialist in energy, heavy electrical equipment, and industrial automation technologies, is among the leading players in innovation and advanced technological solutions.
During the visit, the ambassador held a working session with the company’s executives, presenting ABB’s core activities and examining partnership prospects with Tunisia.
The discussions covered cooperation opportunities in several priority areas, including:
- Modernising water‑resource management mechanisms
- Developing the agro‑industrial sector
- Strengthening the national clean‑energy system
According to a press release published on Monday by the media and communication platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, this initiative is part of Tunisia’s effort to diversify its technological partnerships and promote high‑value‑added investments.
