Tunisian Ministry of Education Announces Nationwide Teacher Recruitment Competition for 2026
The Ministry of Education has announced the launch of an external competitive exam to recruit 1,630 teachers (secondary, technical, and vocational) for the year 2026. The application window opens on April 13 2026 and runs for several days, according to a press release published on Wednesday by the ministry.

Eligibility Requirements
- Academic qualification: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or an equivalent diploma).
- Age limit: Must be under 40 years old.
- These criteria follow the provisions of Decree No. 1031 of 2006, dated April 13 2006.

Online registration – Candidates must create an account on the Education Network portal:
www.edunet.tn- Registration opens as soon as the press release is published and closes on March 14 2026 (deadline for online applications).

Submission of the physical file – After completing the online form, applicants must submit their complete dossier in person at the Regional Education Commissariat of their governorate (address as shown on their national ID card).
- The physical submission deadline is March 27 2026.
Important: Any application that is not entered online, submitted after the deadline, or lacks the required documents will be rejected.
