Energy Trade Balance Deficit Decreases by 5% in July 2025
The energy trade balance deficit, taking into account the royalties from Algerian gas exports, recorded a 5% decrease at the end of July 2025, standing at 6,414 MD, compared to 6,723 MD at the end of July 2024, according to the energy situation report published on Friday by the National Observatory of Energy and Mines.

In July 2025, Brent crude prices recorded a decrease of $14/bbl compared to July 2024. During the same period, the Tunisian dinar experienced a 7% decline against the US dollar, the primary currency used for energy product exchanges, compared to the same period last year.
