Tunisia Elected to Presidency of North Africa Regional Anti-Doping Organization
Tunisia has been elected to the presidency of the North Africa Regional Anti-Doping Organization, following the 19th session of the organization's council, held in Tunis on October 2 and 3. Tunisia, which will preside over the organization for a four-year term, is represented by Mondher Gabbouj, Director General of the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD). The election took place with the participation of member countries: Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania, and confirms the renewed trust given to Tunisia for its constant and recognized commitment to the fight against doping, both nationally and internationally. This designation is also a recognition of Tunisia's major role in developing clean sports in the region, and its commitment to strengthening regional cooperation in the fight against doping.
